Due 2007-12-13

  • Cite scenes and sections in your text which are related from the new material covered in class today.
  • Keep in mind that as we cover new topics you will need to revisit the movie to see what scenes, if any, are relevant.
  • Prepare a 10 minute presentation using the material you've produce for the Group Project. You will be graded on:
    • Clear speaking
    • Clear presentation
    • Slides and any other presentation aids
    • Organization
    • Quality of topics (points you wish to make) and explanations
    • Summary of the film as it relates to this course

Due 2007-12-10

  • Cite scenes and sections in your text which are related from the new material covered in class today.
  • Keep in mind that as we cover new topics you will need to revisit the movie to see what scenes, if any, are relevant.
  • Answer how accurate a depiction/prediction of technology and its social implications your film is.
    • Compared to older films would you say yours is an improved depiction?
    • Would you say newer films are better?
    • Cite references from news, journals, etc. (any primary source will do) from when the films you mention above, in addition to your own, were made (and take place in) when justifying your point.

Due 2007-12-03

  • Cite scenes and sections in your text which are related from the new material covered in class today.
  • Keep in mind that as we cover new topics you will need to revisit the movie to see what scenes, if any, are relevant.
  • For each ethical decision in your time lines explain why the decision was ethical or unethical.
    • You must provide references for your arguments.

Due 2007-11-29

  • Cite scenes and sections in your text which are related from the new material covered in class today.
  • Keep in mind that as we cover new topics you will need to revisit the movie to see what scenes, if any, are relevant.
  • Create an ethical decision time line for each principle character.
    • Cite when each principle character makes an ethical decision.
    • Specify what the decision was.

Due 2007-11-26

  • Cite scenes and sections in your text which are related.
  • You are only responsible for the topics covered in class so far.
  • Keep in mind that as we cover new topics you will need to revisit the movie to see what scenes, if any, are relevant.

Due Monday 2007-11-19

Report stating:

  • When your Group met, and you must meet before Monday.
  • Regular meeting times
    • I suggest at least twice a week considering the pace of the class When your group watched the movie and/or read book
  • When your group watched the movie and/or read book.
    • I prefer you watch the movie before Monday, but if that proves impossible you must state when your group plans to watch it. The sooner the better.
